"I signed up sometime last month..."
I signed up sometime last month, or maybe it was late the month before, and the onboarding felt rushed. I had to ask the same questions more than once, and no one really walked me through the app or explained the perks in a clear way. It wasn’t the best first impression.

The hours are okay overall, but trying to get into classes can feel rushed because they fill up so fast. I do wish they offered later times sometimes, since it’s not always easy to make the current schedule work...

I haven’t tried every single family program they offer, so I can’t say for sure how they all compare, but the ones we’ve checked out have been nice. They felt welcoming and easy for everyone to enjoy

I’ve had a good experience here overall. The gym, pool, and locker rooms are all really nice and feel well-maintained. A few of the machines can get busy during peak times, which is a little annoying, but the amenities are solid and I think it’s a good value for what you get

"Frustrating experience with accessibility questions"
I reached out before signing up, I think sometime in early March or maybe late February, to ask about some basic accessibility accommodations. it felt like no one really knew how to help. I kept getting passed from one person to another, and I never got a straight answer. It ended up being way more stressful than it should’ve been, so I decided it just wasn’t worth it for me.

I mostly only pay attention to the billing side of things, what I’m being charged and whether it matches what I expected. So far, it’s been mostly fine. The prices are clear enough, and when I canceled one membership, I did have to call, which was kind of annoying. But it got taken care of, and I wasn’t charged again after that. Not perfect, but definitely better than some gyms I’ve dealt with

"I really do like the gym itself…"
I really do like the gym itself, but the app has been annoying to deal with. Classes will show as open and then suddenly disappear, and the booking screen freezes more often than it should. A few times I’ve had to log back in just to check class times, which gets old fast. I also had to chase them about the issue instead of getting a clear answer right away. For what Life Time costs, I’d expect the app experience to be a lot smoother.

I actually like the gym itself, and the pools are really nice, but the monthly price just keeps feeling too high for how much I use it. Classes fill up fast, and after work some areas get crowded, so it doesn’t always feel like I’m getting the premium experience I’m paying for. I’d probably stay if it were cheaper, but right now I feel kind of trapped paying a lot for what ends up being average use.

"Nice gym, but the staff could be better"
The gym itself is nice, and I like the setup overall. But... some of the staff didn’t really seem like they cared much. I asked a couple of simple questions and got really short answers. They weren’t exactly rude or anything, just not as professional as I’d expect for what you’re paying.

I’ve put in a couple of maintenance requests and, unless I’m missing something, I never really hear back. Maybe I’m not following the process exactly right, but it feels like the issues just sit there and nothing actually gets fixed

I originally joined Lifetime mainly for the group classes, and for a while I really liked them. But over the past few months, the experience has gone downhill :/ Classes get canceled or switched at the last minute, the studio is usually way too crowded, and a few instructors seem like they’re just rushing through the workout instead of paying attention to people’s form. The music is also SO loud sometimes it’s hard to even follow along. For what they charge, I expected the classes to feel a lot more organized and worth it. I’ve pretty much stopped booking them because it just feels chaotic now, which is disappointing !!

"Good gym, but the waiting gets old"
I like this place overall, but getting equipment can be hit or miss. If I go after work, it’s tough to grab a squat rack or certain machines without standing around for a while. Mornings are usually way better, so I’ve started trying to go then when I can. For the price, I expected the stations to be more open or the layout to feel a little less cramped. Also, a few areas felt oddly spaced out while the popular stuff was always packed, and that part was weird. Not a bad gym at all, just frustrating sometimes.

"I like this spot overall because the..."
I like this spot overall because the location is actually convenient for me and it’s not too far out of the way, which is why I keep going back. But the parking situation is what makes it frustrating almost every single time. I usually end up circling around longer than I expected, trying to find an open spot, and by the time I finally park, I’m already a little annoyed. If the parking were easier, I’d have a much better experience, but as it is now, it can make a simple visit feel like more of a hassle than it needs to be.

The trainers definitely know their stuff, I can’t say they don’t. But a few of the sessions felt kind of rushed, and it didn’t always feel all that personal to me. Not a bad experience, just not nothing I’d call super tailored either

"Always packed and no clear updates"
Every time I go, the place is so crowded that I end up waiting forever just to use a machine or even get a locker. It’s frustrating because you kind of feel left in the dark, like there’s no heads-up about busy times or whether anything’s being done to manage the crowd. Makes the whole experience way more stressful than it should be.

Overall it’s fine, but the locker rooms could definitely be cleaner sometimes?! I’ve noticed a few times where they just didn’t feel as fresh or well-kept as you’d expect.
